The Vans Sk8-Hi “Vanscii” is a wild edition of the classic skate shoe inspired by the early days of the internet. The “Vanscii” nickname references ASCII, an early computer language. Unlike any edition of the Sk8-hi before it, the Sk8-Hi “Vanscii” features a glitch-covered motif with multiple side stripes, an off-kilter chunk of gum rubber side wall extending up onto the upper, and early computer graphics like the “loading” hourglass. The colorway includes a grey grid graphic on the canvas paneling with solid black suede and lime green accents. The Vans Sk8-Hi “Vanscii” released in early 2019.
